The island of Kefalonia otherwise known as Cephalonia, has been voted as one of the most wonderful islands in the World and brings over 10 million visitors yearly. It is the biggest Ionian Island, and it is the sixth largest in entire Greece. It is situated between Zakynthos and Lefkas and could be easily reached by a ferry or a flight. The former is a link between this island and the mainlands of Greece, Zakynthos, Ithaca and Italy. The latter connects it with many European countries. The city of Argostoli is the capital of Kefalonia, located on the west side and boasts beautiful mountainous sceneries, the main street of Lithostroto is filled with a variety of shops bringing lots of people who have the urge to spend money.
