Catamarans in Brac

Brač is a famous nautical destination in Croatia and is the largest of the central Dalmatian islands. Before you rent a catamaran from Brač and enjoy an active holiday off the coast, you can mix with the locals and taste their quality food. Most of the islanders celebrate feasts throughout the year, either in street markets, concerts, art exhibitions, or in town squares. The food culture mainly consists of freshly caught fish, homegrown vegetables, olive oil, vinegar, and jams. The Olive Oil Museum in the settlement of Skrip, not far from Supetar, is an interesting place that offers visitors the learning process of olive oil with a small shop that sells local products.

Two places you cannot leave Brač without visiting are Milna and Bol. The former is a tourist destination 20 km southwest of Supetar, which used to be a port for merchant ships, still functioning as the most protected and beautiful harbor on Brač. The small town used to be called “Valle di Mille Navi” by the Italians, which translates to a bay with thousands of boats. Visitors can rent a catamaran in Milna to enjoy an equally wonderful vacation in Brač with their preferred vessel. The latter destination, Bol, is situated on the southern coast of the island and has won the champion of Croatian Tourism almost 17 times! The most popular attraction in Bol is the Zlatni rat, also known as the Golden Horn, which elegantly extends like a small tongue from the town. The beach has been listed multiple times as one of the top beaches in Europe thanks to its soft white mixture of pebbles and turquoise waters.

With your catamaran rentals in Brač, you can explore the 118 kilometers long coastline and discover the hidden gems of Milna, Supetar, and Bol. Once you have selected your favorite catamaran with your pre-arranged meeting point in Brač, you can begin a full day of fun and sun on the beach. You can enjoy a cruise to Lovrecina beach in the charming town of Postira, for example. The sea stretches for almost 100 m and offers a perfect natural shade. Supetar is situated on the northern side of Brač and consists of lovely beaches, too. Make sure you visit Vrilo, Banj, and Babin Laz beach. The most popular option for a day cruise and a favorite of many tourist brochures is Zlatni Rat beach. Moreover, since the beach is situated in Bol, you will have extra time to explore the stone houses, churches, chapels, and the small beaches in the center of the town. Bol is also a true paradise for sports lovers, with several surfing competitions organized in the summer. The perfect day adventure would end by tasting some delicious lamb dishes of Bol and sipping on the medal-winning wines of the town, including Stina Plavac and Stina Posip.

That is not all, guests are welcome to hire a catamaran in Milna and combine their adventure with Solta and Vis. With an experienced skipper, you can explore the Milna coves, which are perfect stops for snorkeling. The beautiful bay of Osibova is 6 nautical miles from Milna, and Mrduja is a picturesque island between Brač and Solta, offering clear waters. For a two-day trip, you can plan a leisurely cruise to Split and Trogir. If you really want to escape from the city hustle, though, you can sail towards the Krknjasi and Drvenik islands, a perfect slice of paradise near Sibenik.

Below you will find some useful information for your catamaran rentals in Brač.
