Agios Efstratios is a small uninhabited island between Lesvos and Limnos. It is a low-key island, scarcely known even by many Greeks. You won’t find any public transport here, which is why renting a boat will allow you to totally switch off from the outside world. Before you tour the island of Agios Efstratios, you can take a seat at a simple harbor-front café and enjoy the mesmerizing scenery that surrounds the bay. To spend the day relaxing in a serene setting, head to the north side of the island. Agios Dimitrios and Agios Antonios are the perfect beaches to escape from the rest of the world. Ftelio, Alonitsi, and Lidario beaches are also fantastic options on the western side. They have fine white sand and crystal blue waters. 

Though renting a motorboat or speedboat will allow you to enjoy an active tour around the island, a catamaran or sailboat is the safest choice. This way, you can enjoy a two-day or three-day cruise in comfort and safety. Keep in mind that this island is at the center of the Meltemi, which is blowing from the northeast direction.
