Cancellation Policies

Cancellation policies are the conditions under which an owner returns money to a guest when a guest cancels his/her reservation. The owners choose among 4 standard cancellation policies, which are implemented by BednBlue to ensure the protection of both the guest and the owner. Every listing and each reservation clearly states the cancellation policy that its owner has chosen. Guests can review the possible penalties by going to their trip details to see the policy that applies and to cancel by clicking "Cancel" on the specific reservation.

Flexible: 100% of the yacht fee amount is refundable when cancelling up to 7 days prior to check-in and 50% when cancelling up to 1 day prior to check-in.

  • 100% of the yacht fee amount is refundable if the cancellation is made up to 7 days prior to the listing’s local check-in date and time (or 2:00 PM if it is not specified), service fees are not refundable.
  • 50% of the yacht fee amount is refundable if the cancellation is made from 6 days up to 1 day prior to the listing’s local check-in date and time (or 2:00 PM if it is not specified), service fees are not refundable.
  • Yacht fees and service fees are not refundable if the cancellation is made less than 24 hours prior to the listing’s local check-in date and time (or 2:00 PM if it is not specified).
  • The different terminal marina fee, if it has been paid, is refunded if the guest fails to reach the listing.
  • Fuel and mooring fees, if they have been paid, are refunded if the guest fails to reach the listing.
  • The APA fee, if it has been paid, will be refunded if the guest fails to reach the Listing.
  • The Cleaning fee, if it has been paid, will be refunded if the guest fails to reach the listing.
  • An early check-out does not refund any of the yacht fees, service fees and cleaning fee. The fuel and mooring fees, if they have been paid, are refundable for the remaining days of the booking. The APA fee and Extra Services, if it has been paid, is refundable excluding the amount already spent in the duration of the trip. Moreover, the different terminal marina fee, if they have been paid, is refundable when the guest(s) check(s)-out in the same marina/port which they checked-in.
  • If the cancellation is made up to 48 hours after the acceptance of the reservation by the owner and there is a period of at least 7 days between the day of booking and the day of arrival, the entire amount of the reservation will be refunded. In case the guest made a new confirmed reservation after accepting the specific booking, service fees are not refundable.
  • Any complaint related to the booking should be made by either party within 24 hours of arrival.
  • BednBlue will be able to mediate in any complaint, if deemed necessary, and will always have the final word on financial disputes.
  • A reservation is considered officially cancelled only when the cancellation is made via the BednBlue website. To cancel, click on My Trips and then Cancel on the reservation.
  • Cancellation policies may be superseded by extenuating circumstances (in compliance with the Terms of Service of BednBlue), the Refund Policy and cancellations by BednBlue when for any reason the Terms of Service have been violated.

Moderate: 100% of the yacht fee amount is refundable when cancelling up to 31 days prior to check-in and 50% when cancelling up to 8 days prior to check-in.

  • 100% of the yacht fee amount is refundable if the cancellation is made up to 31 days prior to the listing’s local check-in date and time (or 2:00 PM if it is not specified), service fees are not refundable
  • 50% of the yacht fee amount is refundable if the cancellation is made from 30 days up to 8 days prior to the listing’s local check-in date and time (or 2:00 PM if it is not specified), service fees are not refundable.
